The LBMMS machine is also used in conjunction with a paper cutter.

The cutter operator slides the cut lift of stacks onto the system table. The main pusher indexes the lift to the product fence. The table then splits to form a gap between the product rows. The servo pusher measures the row and automatically bands each stack with a plastic or paper band. The main pusher indexes the next row into place as soon as the pusher has cleared the previous row. The main pusher moves back to the home position as the last row of the lift is pushed into the bander.
